Merve Söyleyici is a graduate of Istanbul Technical University holding a degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics. She is a qualified European Patent Attorney and a registered Turkish Patent Attorney. She advices domestic and international clients in the fields of biology, genetics, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Besides heading a team in chemistry and life science her main activities involve patent drafting, prosecution, freedom to operate and resolution of legal disputes.

She is a member of AIPPI and a member of the Biotech Committee at the EPI.

She is fluent in English.
